found a roommate

 so the other day I put up an add on kijiji saying i was looking for a roommate to move into a new place together…. I actually did it on the way to work in the a.m. on my phone.

the very first call i got was from a dude named chris. he seemed super nice over the phone. he spoke well. he said he would meet me that day.  the hostess came running up to me a little before my shift ends and said that there was a cute boy at the door looking for me. shes a 19 year old asain girl. all bouncy and smilie. she was the perfect one to tell me the great news. lol 

he was sitting on the outside of the lounge. I shook his hand and the first thing i noticed was his missing thumb. and then his very beautiful face. he was short. well built. 

we ended up chating for 4 hours. he was a roofer, who recently quit smoking. 25 years old. he moved from ottowa the day before and was staying in a motel. he had a job that he was starting monday. $26 an hour. we have alot in common. he likes rock music, which i dont really care for.  but he likes electronic music too. he has no furniture, which is kinda what i wanted since i have so much of my own. 

what i find wierd is that i become friends with people who are new. everyone who has a major roll in my life where always sent to me from afar.

robin- trained her to do a job at work the first day at work she was from perth ontariio. we where bestfriends forever till she fell into drugs.

chad a boy i dated for 2 years moved from leduc. ew. met him within this first week being in the city.

Joe and walter. met joe his first week in calgary. let him move in with me then had walter move in too.

Mitch. Moved here from Windsor ontario i met him within his first 3 weeks of getting to calgary. and ive been with him ever since… 4 years ago.

anywayzz. i really liked chris and i choose him to be my roommate. oh and then i my mom to take him in for the remainder of the month.

ha. the motel was $500 a week. i cant believe she said yes. she was looking for someone to rent her extra room out to. and i already interviewed him. he was gonna be her roomate until july then he’s mine. weird how it worked out. and literally the next day… which is today.

Me mom and calin picked him up from the hotel with the truck, and took him home. mom seemed to like him too. then we all went to watch the new avengers movie. pretty great movie.

its wonderful how easy this was. i hope for the best. im pretty excited. 

I bought a lululemon jogging skirt I love it. I also bought a waterbottle with a strap so i can hold onto it and run. pretty cool.  weather was shit though so i couldnt go out.

i gotta go to safeway tomorrow. :/
