We decided to say yes…

Booked our flights and hotel this morning.  Good London hotel rooms are hard to come by that weekend, so I ended up spending over $800 a night.  But we’re only going to stay 2 nights, then head off to Wiltshire for a few days with our friends in their thatched cottage.  Crockerton is a lovely village, and it also gives me a chance to dine at their amazing local pub, the Bath Arms

The young chef/owner there is brilliant.  His sticky beef was a dish I shall always remember.  I’ve remembered it thus far, at least.  The last entry about it was here.  Also has a good photo of the thatched cottage where we will stay.

RYN Thanks for that. Glad you’re off to the UK, my homeland!

That chap has quite the CV and the prices are more than reasonable. I can definitely see why you’d go back there.

Oh, good for you! I LOVE Wiltshire. That pub looks fantastic. And reasonable.

RYN: Oh I couldn’t agree more! :¬) And I hope the weather is kind to you in my country in June!

I see you’re in for a treat all round. The pub’s menu looks great…why is it called sticky beef. Is it a stew?
