what exactly is a “conversation”?
I feel like i’m sitting on pins and needles waiting until Monday. Monday at 1130am is when my "conversation" with the principal of the Buffalo middle school will take place.
That’s the word that keeps being used. When the Supervisor of Science for the Buffalo Schools called me she said she was looking for candidates for this position and was i interested.. then she said she would like me to go have a "conversation" with the principal of the school about it..
Candidates was plural.. which makes me think more than one. But "conversation" does not equal "interview" in my book.. at least i don’t think it does..
It’s a but confusing… i’m hoping that "conversation" = job offer, but i certainly don’t know. I wish i knew someone that works in the BPS that could tell me how their hiring usually works.. I keep thinking like i already got the job, and i have to stop or else i will be totally disappointed if that isn’t what happens.
In all truthfulness, school starts on Sept 8th, i need to know where i am going to be working and SOON so that i can start to prepare..
I really hope that i’m right about what this means, but really i have no idea and i am approaching it as a job interview although i have no idea if that’s what "conversation" really means..
Any thoughts?
Hey a friend of a friend of mine taught in a buffalo school for the summer and I saw that her FB said something about meeting with the principal yesterday and at that meeting she was given a job offer for school 19! Goodluck !!!!!!!

Keep your mind on the meeting as if it was an additional final interview. With some luck it will also be the job offer you are looking for. Best Wishes.
