weekend wrap up.. shopping pics!

All in all i had a pretty good weekend. On Friday we got our tax return so we had a little extra money to blow.. lol.. Actually I spent maybe $150 shopping and paid thousands in bills.. ugh! but still feels nice.
Friday night we headed to the mall.. not that exciting. neither of us were really in a "shopping mood" so i’m not sure why we really went there.. but we ate in the food court and the kids played in the play area. so they had fun. I did score 2 sweaters and a pair of tights at Ann Taylor LOFT for only $30!!!! so that was amazing!

Saturday morning I had a professional development class from 9 to 12, so Charles took maya and Paige to dance.. The class is "Genetics at the Zoo" and is being held at the Buffalo Zoo. It’s been really interesting so far, but makes me kind of sad that being a geneticist isn’t the path that I chose. (I almost was going to go get a Ph.D. in genetics after college.. a lot of me kind of wishes that i had.) Anyway, after class i picked up maya from dance, Charles had dropped her off.. and took her to McDonald’s for lunch. I grabbed a meal for paige and met her and Charles at home. Later we went to walmart and Charles got us a new 42" plasma TV with his tax return. I’m in love… with the TV.. oh yeah, and him too! lol

Today the girls were gone from 9 to 230. they went to church with a friend of mine and her family and then stayed for her kids’ birthday party. Charles had basketball practice this morning so once the kids were picked up i got myself ready and headed out to the mall. I kind of looked around but nothing really got me excited.. Charles met me at the mall when he was done practicing. I ended up at purse heaven, I mean the Coach outlet, and got a new purse and a scarf and gloves set!!!!! they were having an amazing sale and i got all that for under $150! i’m going to see if i can find pics of any of it..
