waterpark shopaholic.
Well our little getaway was a blast! The girls had so much fun it was ridiculous.. just what i had wished for. Everything was great, and i highly recommend the waterpark if anyone else is looking to go there.. only thing is,, be prepared to shell out money for food. In Niagara Falls, Canada, ever since the Casinos came the prices are astronomical! Even the funhouses, etc. on Clifton Hill.. absolutely ridiculous! Admission when i was younger, 10 years ago.. was about $7 per attraction, now, the moving movie theater (we got free tickets w/ our hotel room) is $18 Canadian PER person!! for a 10 minute movie/ride.. unreal..
So anyway, yeah, the restaurants are a bit pricey..
I did however, finally get to check out the Rainforest Cafe! It’s somewhere i’ve wanted to go to eat at for years.. I thought it was really neat inside, it reminded me of Kahunaville (a restaurant we used to have in Buffalo), but better.
Hmm what else? today Dave had the girls for the day, so charles and i started to clean out the basement, but quickly got bored of that! So then we went shopping!!! =) First thrift shopping to all of the big thrift stores out towards Buffalo, and then back to our own outlet mall..
**Gymbo talk ahead**
LOL! I managed to have 3 amazing finds today!! actually more but 3 spactacular ones..
I found 2 (different) Mountain Cabin puffer vests! This is my absolute favorite line and to get 2 great pieces for less than $3 each was amazing!
I also found a Giraffe Club purse. For 79cents!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT… (now i just have to hunt down an outfit to match it..)
**end of gymbo talk**
Then i got spoiled a bit. Charles knows i have been really wanting a new Juicy suit. (the ones i have i got on ebay used for about $40 each and LOVE them!) So he took me to the Juicy Couture Outlet that just opened not too long ago. there on a Clearance rack, i was able to get a brand new suit for $75! I know, still pricey, but i really will live in it on weekends so i think it’s worth it…
Then we stopped at home and hauled in our finds, i changed into my new tracksuit, and we headed out to the Erie Canal to take a walk. It’s about 60 degrees here today.
Now he’s off having someone look at the gear box (??) for his lawn roller since it is acting up. Everyone pray the roller isn’t trash.. we don’t have the money to replace it and we’ll be out a lot of money from not being able to roll lawns this year..
ok i’m off. I should be back later with pics.. or at least a link to a new facebook album or two..
bye all..
I LOVE good deal days! You scored!

I love Rainforest Cafe. I took Emma and my mom there in January, and both of them loved it. Emma still talks about it.

Glad to hear that you recommend the waterpark! I love the Rainforest but you’re right, it’s incredibly expensive.
