Updates on Everything.

OK well my car still isn’t ready today.  The guy looked at it and said it was only the serpentine belt that was gone that was the problem.  So he replaced that, turned it on, and a lovely liquid started spewing from a pipe somewhere in my car.  lovely.  this pipe is a part that is a "dealer" part and I guess there isn’t a dealer here in the good old Buffalo area, with this specific part.  even more lovely.  Anyway, he is now trying to seal this "pin hole" with some type of sealant instead.  I guess this sealant needs 24 hours to dry fully, so no car for me today.  boo!

Also, today when I showed up to proctor I wasn’t on their list.  I guess the lady who called to confirm my proctoring assignment couldn’t get ahold of me because I have no answering machine.  Whatever. I said I would do it. I received a letter that said "thank you for agreeing to proctor" with a schedule for when to show up.  How silly of me to believe that they would expect me?  ugh!  AND she said that she tried to call me "several times,"  however I can only remember seeing her name on our caller id once.  I thought it was wierd, but maybe they were calling me to sub, which I couldn’t at the time due to my other long term job that I had just finished.  Whatever.  Needless to say, no proctoring for me.

Good news!  Dave won $100 on a $2 scratch off lottery ticket!!!  Patio set here I come!! or so I thought.  We went and looked at the one I spotted a wal mart with a closer eye, and really, it is of very low quality.  I doubt it would last us for longer than a couple years.  So we are going to put the money away and keep looking..So if anyone has gotten an inexpensive, yet durable, patio set recently, tell me where you got it!

Ok on another note, Thanks for all the positive comments about my dishes!  I have a 12 person service of them and I loooove them.  We got them for our wedding.  I’ve run it past Dave and we are going to buy the matching canisters/crock/valance/rugs for our kitchen!  yay!

ok that’s it for now… i’m going to try to wrestle the remote from Dave now.. lol!
