ugh!

I’m really worried i made the wrong choice.

You see, today i signed the lease on that house.  I was excited at first, but now i’m really worried it’s going to be way too small =(.

I know the square footage has to be way less than we have here.

However, it’s a house, i’ve wanted to have a house for a really long time.

and it isn’t THAT small.

It has a good sized living room.  Three bedrooms that are all decent sized, not "closet-y" at all.  a laundry room that’ll have enough extra space for our chest freezer, a decent sized bathroom… but then there’s the kitchen.. =(

it’s so small i have no idea how we’re going to fit a table in there, and like i said, no dining room.  I mean i know it’ll all work out, but just.. ugh..

I do love that it has a sliding glass door off the kitchen that opens into the backyard, where there is a huge blacktop area (patio? but it’s attached to the driveway.. kind of strange) and it is covered by a carport.  A nice big one.  So the yard will be great!  in fact I see us spending most of our time out there in the warmer months.

Oh there is also a massive shed, which i mentioned before.

I’m just apprehensive because the living space feels so small.  well really just the inconduciveness of a f-ing table..

i already signed the lease so all this "belly-aching" really is inconsequential since we move in May 1st.

oh and the other grrrrr thing??  no dishwasher!

but yes, this is all to save a couple hundred a month on utilities… which we should.. so i’m sure that will feel great!
