super quick, and to do’s*ETA

Just wanted to give a super quick update.. since when you see my to do list at the end or this you will understand why..

Last night we spent the evening and into the night at our small county fair.  It was really fun! the kids got pay-one-price ride bracelets and rode the rides over and over and over again… I went on the swings once with them.. we didn’t really have the money for me to get a bracelet too, but that was ok, it was for the kids.

Charles picked up an application to be a corrections officer for the county.  He’s going to take the civil service test in October, so cross your fingers.. It would be a really nice job for him.  What he does now basically times 20! lol!

Anyway.. we are super cleaning today… ugh! but i’m actually in a cleaning mood so it is ok.. We’ve already conquered the kitchen (minus the floor), our bedroom (minus a basket of laundry to put away) and the kids room..

My mom is staying here overnight with the kids tonight while Charles and I go party it up at this birthday party for a lady we used to work with.  Apparantly they are going to have a band, lots of food and beer, etc!  Should be a really good time.  Some people are bringing tents, but since we have no tent, we are bringing the little pop up camper.  I think i’m going to feel a bit wierd about having it.. but it’s little and shouldnt’ be a big deal.. let me see if i can find a pic of one like it..
 this one is probably newer, but you get the idea.. it pops up into a teepee shape! its really cute, everytime we go camping at least 3 people stop by and ask about it.. want to see it.. etc.!  it’s kind of funny..

but ok, i have to get back to work.. so here we go..

• At least 2 more loads of laundry
• put away baskets of laundry in bedroom
• steam clean mattresses
• clean upstairs bathroom
• mop kitchen floor..

ok i don’t know,, i’m just going to try to do the best i can getting some of this done..

We also have Charles’ nephew’s bday party at 3pm so i have to get moving!!!

dang.. for some reason my writing window on here is only allowing me to write in the top 2 inches… has been like this.. don’t know why. annoying..

Also, my steam cleaner is broken!!!!!! ugh!!!  I"m so irritated! it is less than 2 years old and was not cheap~  Luckily the hose attachment part worked so i could clean the mattresses, but the floor part.. the main thing it’s for obviously will not work.. even after charles took it all apart and cleaned it out and what not.. ugh.

oh and i wanted to say that i signed the girls up for dance class for the fall..  I am super excited to have them going back to dance! I think i missed it more than i thought..
