sunday musings.

Well, lookie here.. another update! no way!! LOL!

Well today was a nice, non-eventful, easy type of day.

It began with the girls trying to get us up at about 5:30am, which of course, was a NO go.  Back to bed little munchkins, until about 8am, a much more humane time.

Chuck went out this morning to go to the gym and I tidied up the house a bit and drank my coffee in my pj’s.  A glorious thing.

I also started some beef vegetable soup using the soup bones that were included when we got our 1/4 of a cow.  Wierd things those are, but they worked, even if i found the soup to be a bit greasy from what it usually is.

It was the kind of dinner that reminded me of my grandfather, who is eternally offering soup to anyone to enter my grandparents house.  Of course, this hasn’t really happened for me in the last few months since a certain crazy ex has taken up what seems to be becoming, permanent residence there.  So not fair. ugh.

anyway I went to the gym myself after a while, when charles got home and the soup bones were starting to become soup boiling on the stove.  I actually had a really good work out.

We’ve started taken this L-Carnitine supplement.  It is supposed to speed up your metabolism and help you to burn fat.  Well, everyone, i do believe it is working because i worked out at my normal pace, and my heart rate was a higher more easily than usual and i was sweating like crazy.. .. so hey, a little help can’t hurt right?

Oh and it’s been SNOWING like crazy today.. SNOWING~!!!  sheesh.  Seriously, can we get a break this winter. It’s either been Snowing or FREEZING (like -20F with the wind chill).  I am really starting to get spring fever much to early this year.  As we all should be aware, this is Western New York, spring is still a LONG way off.. boo!

Well, I have a pile of laundry to get to working on the size of Mt. Everest so i should probably get to working on so i should probably get to it.  Though the possibility of just lounging around watching movies until I fall asleep is sounding sooo much better.

Hey, i actually have a question for you.. How many of you that have children ever actually get completely done with the laundry?? as in there is no more left to do?  I am just curious as i am NEVER completely done.  The laundry pile just remains fluctuating in size and content as the days turn into weeks, months, years.  maybe it will get completely finished when the girls are in high school??

A girl can always dream..

I do all my laundry everyday. 2 loads/day. BUt i dont have a place to let it pile up, as our laundry room is the main walkway between the kitchen and garage.

I usually do all the laundry a couple of times a week but it still seems like a never ending process.

If I don’t do laundry, I usually end up with 3-4 loads to do after a week. If I do it twice a week, I still end up with 4 loads. Unfortunately, I can’t let it pile up too long because a) we run out of clothes and b) I have no where to shove the dirty clothes!

Well I’ll tell you that as soon as my sister and I were tall enough to reach the buttons, my mom made us do our OWN laundry. Washing, drying, folding, all of it. I think I was 5 or so when I started. You should think about it!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh Amy…..completely DONE? Are you MAD? Dream on lady! LOL!….there’s been many a time when I have been “done” the laundry, breathed a sigh of relief, and got socked with another load within the next HOUR…LOL! Such is the life of a mom…
