personal touches.. (pics)

I am continuing on today in my house cleaning/sprucing up mission!

today so far, i’ve steam cleaned the dining room part of my living room/dining room.  Will do the other 1/2 when the first half dries.. no fun having your whole carpet soaking wet!  and i’ve steam cleaned the girls bedroom.  I also have folded/ put away 3 loads of laundry, have a couple more going, have a good start on cleaning the girls’ playroom/our guest room.. AND.. best of all

i took 2 of the pictures of the flowers that Charles got me for valentine’s day and had 5×7 prints made.  then i matted them in 8×10 frames and put them up in the living room..

I LOVE them.. they are really good pictures, look like flower pics you would buy at the store.. but they are SO personal! 

 (the lines are just shadows and reflections since the wall to the the left of them is covered in large mirrored panels)

oh and a couple of the new living room arrangement…

 yes the back wall is all mirrors.. not my choice. (i’m just a renter.. lol!  but it actually doesn’t look as bad behind the TV as i thought it would when we moved stuff around..)  And i’m actually kind of liking the lighting fixture.. although it would be changed if we bought this townhouse.. and kept this the living room area and not the dining room area..
