so Dave’s grandma, Situ, passed away this afternoon..

he actually did leave and came home and slept from 3 to almost 6. Then he called and got the news. =(  I feel bad for him.  He tends to take these things pretty hard..

So, of course, my beach day isn’t going to happen.. i don’t think anyway.. (hmmmm maybe we’ll get tons done this weekend and come up wednesday..?)  it’ll be incentive to pack like a mad woman.. the beach does that to me…. i think i’ll call my aunt..

The wake is on Monday, we are going, and staying over til Tuesday, when the funeral will take place.  So now i’m going to have to UN-pack some of Dave’s dress clothes, and maybe mine too.. geez.. life certainly is irritating lately!  I’d almost rather go shopping but we can’t afford it.. so I get to dig through the already packed pile of boxes…. lovely.

well my dinner is cooking.. at 7:20pm.. late i know.. we’re having chili and real mashed potatoes.. I love chili on potatoes.. so I better go finish it..

I just wanted to add a picture.. this is Dave and Situ, March of 2006.. We have seen her since then, but this is when his brother took her out of the nursing home to our neice’s birthday party.. A better opportunity for pictures.

I think i’m going to do something with this one for Dave, probably just print it and frame it.  I wouldn’t want it just to stay on our computer..

Actually I think i’m going to upload it to wal-mart and get it printed and framed for him before he gets out of work today..
