lessons i have learned.**impt. edit
or am learning through this. i will continue to add to this as more are learned. I will grow and be positive in this experience. I need to be. I can do this!
- There are no guarantees in life. It CAN happen to you.
- I am strong. I can handle this.
- I have great friends and a wonderful family that can help me through this.
- Take it one day at a time right now, but also see the big picture. Either we will make it or we won’t. Either he will get better or he won’t. I can’t control that. In a year or so, either way i know life will be better, either with Dave or living a different life.
- you only get one time around. I will not waste my life, my children’s lives, or my education by losing my job by not being strong enough to get out of bed and do what needs to be done.
- I love my husband more than even I knew before.
- I am an adult, in every sense of the word. I have arrived..(lol!)
- Celebrate the small miracles. He’s taken the medication for 2 days now. He has 3 doses in his system ( he took 2 yesterday). Tomorrow will be 3 days, then 4, and so on. take it day by day and pray.
- I know prayer is important. Why do i try to live life without God? (for the most part) it makes no sense. If i believe prayer is important and will help (i’ve put Dave on 2 different church’s prayer lists.. i may try to get him added to more tomorrow) how can I live without focusing on God? ***If anyone has a prayer list at their chrurch and would be willing to put Dave on it, please let me know and i’ll give you his last name if needed, Thank You***
You have learned some valuable lessons at a young age. Adversity does that to us.

WOW, girlfriend! This last point may be EXACTLY why God let this happen, that through all things HE might be glorified! I think we’ve talked about Romans 8:28 before? Now we pray for His perfect will, to reunite you in renewed hope and trust in each other and in Him! LOVE YOU!
