House!**
ok well maybe. On Saturday I went to look at a house that was advertised as a "rent to own." I was not a fan of that particular house but i began talking with the man that was handling the open house. Apparently, he is a "house flipper" that does a "rent to own" in this way… If you qualify for a mortgage based on credit score and income, he will get you prequalified for a mortgage through a bank or lending company, and during the time that you would normally be waiting to close and move in (think 3 months) you are able to live in the house, essentially rent and mortgage free and save that money towards the closing costs of the sale.
there is more to it than that, but that is basically how I understand this to work.
Besides the property that I looked at, and was not a big fan of, on Saturday, he had 2 other properties coming up for sale within the next month or so. One I drove by and was not drawn to, however this other one…. oh i’m in LOVE! ok, well semi-love. It really does seem perfect, and if the inside of the house is as good as the outside and the location (royalton, for your locals, it is RIGHT outside of lockport, only 5 minutes or so from Wyndham – where Charles still works). I’m going to see if I can get this process rolling!!!!
I’m way TOO excited now.. but I do know the realities.. this house just seems exactly what I would want..
Keep in mind this was a foreclosure and there is still a lot of work that they are planning on doing before selling, but here is the old listing…. still cached online since he just bought the house and is planning on selling within a month or so..

not sure if the like will work since it is old and I had to click on "cached" on google to get it to open.. but PLEASE wish me luck and cross your crossables, and PRAY! that all works out..
thank you!
me =)
(irl-ers, please keep this on the DL, don’t want to hear grief from anyone unless it’s really going to happen)
After doing some research, i believe that this whole thing may be a scam.. so excitement aside, i’m preceeding with extreme caution.. or maybe not at all.. hmmm.. well, I’ll go see the house tomorrow, and insist that I have my own inspector/appraiser before I purchase the property.. ?? not sure, must talk to Charles.. ugh..
but you know what they say when something is too good to be true.. we’ll see…
oooo Good luck!
