best shish-ka-bobs recipe EVER!
Just wanted to share..
My pineapple teriyaki shish kabobs
Ingredients
1 large can of pineapple chunks (in pineapple juice NOT syrup), the one i used tonight was 20 oz.
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
a couple shakes of garlic powder
sweet onions
multicolored peppers
cherry tomatoes
chicken (skinless, boneless breasts cut into chunks) and/or beef (steak cut into chunks)
Directions
drain the can of pineapples into a bowl, set pineapples aside.
add 1/2 cup teriyaki to pineapple juice. Add a couple of shakes of garlic powder. mix.
THIS is your marinade.
Cut up your peppers and onions to "kabab size"
add your pineapples and cherry tomatoes to the veggies in a bowl.
Pour 1/2 (or a bit more) of the mrinade over your meat and the rest over your cut up veggie/pineapple mix. Let marinate for at least an hour.
put on skewers and grill. We use the marinade from the veggies to baste the skewers as they cook.
They are amazing!
