and the days roll on…

as the days and weeks keep rolling on.. i’m realizing something.. i’m whining my way right until June.  At least this crazy train has a stop to make.  and THAT is something to be thankful for!

I had that phone interview today.  It went VERY well, but didn’t last long… The principal said that he’d let me know by the end of the week if they would like me to make the trip to interview in person.  But, he stated, as I believed i have expressed to him in the past, I’m not really going to want to travel down there unless there is a good chance that I will get the position.  So we’ll see soon I guess.  The Donavon-Shellman clan may be rolling on in to Duplin County North Carolina.. (eeee.. oh yeah, i should probably check out the payscale and benefits before I go traveling miles upon miles to interview.. i’ll get right on that)

I’m feeling MUCH more myself this week.. crazy pills finally really kicking in? could be.. i’m still taking anti-anxiety stuff too though so maybe they should increase my dosage by a bit.. not sure.. whatever, it’s nice not to feel quite so down all the time..

Oh and I got a call from a principal with Charlotte-Mecklenberg Schools as well.  It’s an alternative school, which is right up  my ally!  So i’m going to give him a call back tomorrow, he wants to set up a "video conference" thing.. either i’ll skype from my sister’s or he’ll get a phone interview too… we’ll see what happens.

so yeah, at least i’m seeing opportunity for myself out there in the vast country.. as a teacher i worked with once liked to say "it’s a big country, i don’t have to work here, they need teachers everywhere"..

i’m just not SO positive i want to leave home.. i’m just AM positive I want out of this school..

oh and good riddance to Tuesday, of all of the days of the week, i hate tuesday most.  Monday is ok, since we JUST had the weekend, but by tuesday we’re in the swing of things and I feel that the weekend should be MUCH closer than it is…=(
