I fall all to pieces.

All day, I sit at work and jam to newly downloaded tunes, and the baby and I dance around and move and act like morons. I wouldn’t be surprised if 5 of the lbs I’ve lost is just from baby-dancing. Today we’re feeling kinda laid-back, and Ray Lamontagne’s ENTIRE discography has played all day. I mean, we’ve got a good two more hours left before we have to repeat. Baby’s taken to chanting peepeepotty in one phrase. Or mommasworking. It’s super cute and scares the bejesus out of me, knowing these are phrases I’ve said to him in the past week and he’s sponging them up.

This morning lil bro knocked REALLY loudly on the bathroom door, so I opened it looking for a full-grown person to need something, and he was down there all 2.5 feet of him waving and saying bye-bye and offering his cheek for a kiss. He MIGHT be the coolest personality I’ve met to date. I miss the little booger more and more when I’m at work, or out for the day. He’s so damn personable. I guess God knew when this little zygote formed out of wedlock that would have 3 siblings that were nearly adults, that he’d have to put a wham-bang of personality in it for it to EVER reach through our thick skulls. He’s just this little spitfire, ahhhh. Love him. He’s a tiny adult. I’ve taken care of countless toddlers in my years as a nanny. At least 15 I’ve worked 1-on-1 with daily for months. And he seriously is like, this adult. Him and the kiddo I watch at work, they’re just like grown men. We call work baby the ‘professor.’ We don’t have names like that for Al, but I mean…. he’s got it. More on that another day, I’m harping.

I get my puppy-love on SUNDAY at NOON. I really think Nugget is his name. Get this- I looked up his D.O.B. on wikipedia, and he has the same birthday as Ted Nugent, Tom Delonge, and Taylor Swift, as well as Abe Lincoln’s wife. Isn’t that awesome? I really love this-day-in-history type things. My birthday is the same as New York from I love New York, Joan of Arc, and Ludacris. That’s saying a lot, duh. It’s also a Mexican holiday that starts off the Mardi Gras season, which is absolutely CORRECT. Anyway, his birthday means these things- I really liked the name Nugget before, and his bday is the same as the NUGE. Also, my secret I-will-name-my-son-that-name-regardless-of-anything name for my son is Lincoln. I just love it. Abraham too, actually. I was obsessed when I was little. The point is that I don’t think you can name a dog a name you want to name your future kids because then you’ll always be referring to your old pet too. But I mean, he was born on the SAME DAY as Lincoln’s Love.  What to do?

I’m obsessive, so? This is what single girls do. And eat.

The agency is starting to come together! I’m taking Monday to advertise all over the place for families. I’ve already gotten 10 sitters to register, and that’s super important too. I’m really excited and hope things come together well. Building an agency is a great thing to do when you’re 22!

EDITED:

For lunch, I made this absolutely disgusting looking smoothie that might be the cure to all the world’s problems: 10 blackberries, 15 blueberries, 10 raspberries, 6 large strawberries, two slices of fresh pineapple, a tablespoon of soy protein, 1/4 cup of yogurt, a teaspoon of flax oil, and TWO CUPS of fresh spinach. It sounded nasty and LOOKED nasty…. But I can just feel all the antioxidants burning through all the sick I’ve been dealing with. Doesn’t that just sound like a disgusting gross concoction? The smoothie is pretty in line with what Dr. Oz’s Real Age diet has you eat for breakfast, and it’s delicious without the spinach. Spinach was an afterthought because I couldn’t eat another salad after all the veggies I ate last night… And it just gets chopped up and blended in and changes the color a bit, but you couldn’t taste it at all and I feel all righteous. YAY. It’s like, all these antioxidants and probiotics and everything. That’s so yay.

YAY you found your dog!!! That’s wonderful!! Kudos to you for being ambitious enough to make a shake! I’m recently trying to eat healthier, but think that taking the time to make shakes and clean up sounds tedious. :0) I am on the realage quit smoking program. Which all sort of starting with reading about realage.com on your diary. So thanks! RYN: Some of my entries are private b/c they..
