Shoe Fetish: Evolutionary Gene!!!!

 So as I drove home today I pondered my own great appreciation of women’s shoes,  its kinda strange,  was always attracted to them, even as a young boy,  not sexually, in fact I have never had a sexual fantasy of any sort of shoes I just really really love women’s shoes and women wearing them!! (Rofl)

So I was thinking,  well I think its the creativity of the creator who designed them,  yeah thats something I find interesting and exciting,  maybe its the workmanship that goes into a fine pair (in truth the workmanship in most high end women’s shoes is staggering)

maybe its my appreciation of the engineering to allow that much to be balanced on so little…

I think its the fact that women get so excited over a really awesome pair or maybe its all of the above.

Dont really know but I do know I purchased a pair of these http://www.alexandermcqueenshoes.com/alexander-mcqueen-samurai-scrimshaw-scale-platform-sandal_p63.html to put in a box on the wall for my office, I think they are amazing for all of the above reasons (check the detail work on the soles!!!)

So anyways went to this web link and it says there is an evolutionary reason for men to have shoe fetish, namely that women who protected their feet more likely had longer life span and hence higher reproductive success, hence men who favored women who paid attention to their feet had higher possibility of successfully passing on their genes hence the latent gene buried in us of men who prefer women who pay attention to their feet.  

(the same thing may be at work with women who notice men who maintain good hygiene of their hands could be a latent gene related to the fact that men who have clean/maintained hands are more likely to be able to not contaminate the children and woman hence more successful gene transmission) 

Another theory says that women who raised their feet (Ie high heel style) may have protected the soft and relatively fragile arch area and thus lived longer thus greater reproductive success and that men attracted to that may in fact be increasing success rate!

LOLs anyways just my thoughts for the night!!
