bleh Damn thieves!! Again!!
Happy thanksgiving!!
My TG was nice, hope all is well with all of you!…I had a nice time except my truck was broken into…’
son of a bitch!!
I removed the truck safe…on Tuesday…cause I needed more room for the family trip to Fairhope…
it was broken into at my parents house TG day…..
What did they get? December’s petty cash fund $5,000.in 50’s and 100’s, dammit!!
they also got my personal bank account check book, and my deposit tickets for two other accounts.
Needless to say I spent Friday on the phone with the bank and the accountant to try to lock down the various accounts and stop any counter checks or wire transfers..kinda shaky two days but as of today, I moved all the money to safer places…
The good news? well for one thing my ipad, business comp and phone were inside the house and not stolen, as well as the fact that my wallet was hidden in the seat crack and not stolen.
Also, I can assume that some of the money will go to good use since even though a criminal stole it, we can hope that some of that money is being spent on neccessary things for people that he loves…and the money that is just being spent well I guess can we can call it a mini-stimulus plan. Yay for fairhope’s economy right?!
ehh it will all turn out alright…sometimes things like this are just to ticket to make me stop and be thankful for what I haven’t lost…and the things most precious to me cannot be stolen anyways…so heh another semester of tuition paid in the "University of Stupid" where apparently I am working on my doctorate…
Last yeararound this time it was christmas lights stolen, this year cash….ces’t la vie…
and maybe, just maybe, maybe the guy who stole is desparate and needs the money to help his sickly child get a liver transplant or something like that…(well that is what I choose to believe anyways)
On another note I watched Miracle on 34th Street with my family and it was great!!! Go Santa Go!! I believe!!!
anyways for all the crap, I am thankful that I am in a position to be stolen from and not needing to steal…
Also was a very cheap trip, no shopping at all (I despise crowds of people when I shop) I think I spent $12 bucks the whole weekend!!
Well I bid farewell to my OD friends from the Deep South, where the leaves fall like rain, the sweaters sprout like mushrooms, and children are happy and rosie cheeked!!
Rosie cheeked 🙂 my sister had her car broken into. All that was taken was her winter jacket and her fiance’s wheelchair gloves. I didn’t feel bad that those were taken. Obviously someone is preparing for winter and in dire straights. I’ve never seen miracle on 34th street. I just bought home alone and home alone 2. Those are my favourite Christmas movies.
