My Daughter has become my best homie

Man she is my go to for a good laugh….cry….for truths…n just to chill. She is my last born n my only girl. I had her thinking she was a boy n my womb. I wanted a girl so bad…so I talked my ex-husband into trying for the 3rd time to conceive a daughter. Low n behold….she made her way into my life. I was ecstatic when I found out God blessed me with a daughter. When she was a little girl…she was a total daddy’s girl n we butted heads because she was spoiled n because she had her daddy wrapped n always going against me with her when she was little. It wasn’t until she was 16 that we finally got super close. Now…. she can’t go a day with out calling her mom just to shoot the shit…get advice…or to have an ear to vent to n be comforted by. She amazes me. She’s so strong n very loving. She is only 19 n she just graduated from high school June 9th…July 9th she moved into her own place…july 13th she turned 19…n she got herself into a relationship with a guy 9 years older then her and he’s amazing to my baby girl.. I approve of him 100%. Having a daughter is such a blessing. Our relationship is a beautiful thing n I thank God for her every day!
