Fiddler’s Green

Mark had been doing a lot of self analyzing. Having lost a lot of repect from people from the events in ‘The House’ helped him realize that his life lacked direction. On the other end of the spectrum, he saw the respect that Alan commanded and equated it with being a Marine. Se he announced he would be joining. With Mark moving out and Alan back from the Marines looking for a place to live, Denver moving back from Albany, and Brendan needing to be closer to the city. things were set for a nice transition, but ‘the House’ was too far away from everything but the college everyone already graduated from.

So in July, Jay and Dan moved in with Alan and Denver rented a huge house that became known as Fiddler’s Green. Most of the décor was pure 70’s complete with a plush mirrored coffee table they ended up storing in the basement until special occasions. This place became the new location for all of our social events because frankly, they had the room for them. Our group of friends had ballooned to a large number of people (as you may tell by the number of people mentioned thus far in these stories) and after the first time you were invited, you were always welcome.

Yolanda had lost her job and freaked out quite a bit. She was more and more showing a little bit of instability.

Jen also convinced me to go job hunting with her. Her JCPenney’s schedule was too chaotic for her to continue working there and keep her other jobs. It was apparent she was looking for a change, but she really didn’t know what it was going to be. Plus, she thought I was wasting my time and my abilities working at a department store and it made her sad. I admit, she had a point, but I was never the most ambitious person around. I don’t usually do things just for myself, but if it was for someone else…
