Why Do I Bother….

Sorry bout this..  it’s going to be a rant….

Ok so here’s the deal..  I work in IT in a department of 2 people (including me) and a part time helper….   office of about 100 people.

My boss was giving an agreement 6 yeas ago that while his kids where at home he could work from home 1 day a week…..  which means I have to do all the user support at least 1 day a week which can make my weeks VERY hectic…  Well his kids are both at school now (1 has been for over a year now) and the other has been for quite a few months now…   His wife is home 3 days a week (including the day he "works" from home) but he still has his day off a week..  The users in the building don’t even bother to contact him these days cos I’M always here so they only ever bother me even if he’s sat at his desk twidling his thumbs !!!  OH and he gets paid over twice what I do !

So my rant is this…  it’s cold and icy and generally crap weather but I made it into the office fairly easily (albeit slightly slower than normal) but he’s decided not to come in !!!  So it’s all left to me to deal with…  as bloody normal !!

SOOOOOOO F*&K it, I’m going home lovely and early !!
