Monday 10/9/23
7:44a.m. I’m still above the dirt. I fell asleep around nine last night. I slept well with no nightmares. I also got changed during the night. Then the aides got me up at five in the morning . I slept in my wheelchair unil breakfast. I had cold scrambled eggs and a peach strudel coffee cake. That was good but the eggs sucked.
I talked with Chococolatechip after I ate. She was feeling down. Chococolatechip was worried that someone on the building might of started a nasty rumor about her. She and this one other lady always got along. But the other lady wasn’t friendly at all that friendly yesterday. We talked extensively about that subject.
It was not beyond realm of possibility I said. I also said you got to take in account the nasty sick people at OT. Starting rumors. storing the pot are just the type of shit they thrive on. ent through a ?it of that shit myself when I lived there. I also suggested one of the members of the Bitch Clique might be sitting the pot.
Chococolatechip also talked about upcoming appointments. One appointment she made that pleased me is a visit. Her case manager said she can take her down on the 23rd at nine. That would be great I said. I can’t wait to see her. We will have lunch together in the Fiesta Room. I will be looking forward to this.
9:36a.m. I am at the Coffee Social waiting for my first cup of coffee I can hardly wait. I sure could use a cup. Today I’m not letting anything or anyone bother me. I’m going to enjoy my coffee and read my book. Hell with them.
11:14a.m. I’m back from the coffee Social. I had two coffees that started my engine. I also started to read Chapter 3 ” The Oracle”in The Gunslinger by Stephen King. I drank my coffee and read my book. I had a wonderful time. Best part was I didn’t hear anyone talking or laughing at me. I called Chocolatschip when I got back to my room, no answer.
I’m really enjoying my book The Gunslinger . Like I said I started Chapter 3. ,Roland Deshain and Jake Chambers are crossing the dessert in search of the Man in Black. I think he draws Jake to a mountain where there is mysterious some monolith coming out from some rocks. Some kind of demon dwells in this structure.it can tell prophecies. The Gunslinger is eventually drawn to it. He is trying to get the structure to tell him his future.
The Gunslinger is yet another weird book by Stephen King. I love it!I can’t get enough of his books. In my humble opinion these Dark Tower novels are is masterpieces. They are pure King at his best!
1:33p.m. I read until lunch. They served fish, au gratin potatoes, peas, a dinner roll and a chocolate brownie. It was delicious and I ate it all. I called Chocolatschip after I ate. She was still feeling down about yesterday’s incident. Chococolatechip said she wants to clear the air with that lady. She did clean her apartment and listened to Catholic music on UTube. That made her feel better.hococolatechip also said she is going to Mass on Sunday. She can walk down to St Paul’s for the elevator o’clock Mass. I said that would be a big help.
I went on about how I was drenched in urine. Dried urine began to hurt. I rang the call light. I said to Chococolatechip I hope I don’t have to wait all afternoon like yesterday. I yelled for help and got scolded for it. This time I didn’t have to wait too long. Aides came in put me to bed, cleaned me up and changed my briefs. I’m much better now.
I’m going to read my book The Gunslinger by Stephen King. I’m on an interesting chapter I want to find out what’s coming next.
6:11p.m. I’m really worried about Chococolatechip. She has been depressed all day. For awhile I thought her moods have lifted. But last time I called she was down in the dumps. Chococolatechip went to bed earlier than usual . She was pretty tired I think it was the depression that made her tired. I hope she will be better after a good night’s sleep.
I was tired myself. I slept on and off all afternoon. They woke me up from a nap for supper. I had BBQ chicken, cornbread and a cup of fruit. Supper was ok. Best part about it I didn’t get sick or bloated.
I’m going to try and read tonight. I’m almost finished with Chapter 3 in The Gunslinger I’d like to get in another chapter tonight. But my thoughts are with Chococolatechip.
