I have a little time before the cinnamon crumb cake comes out of the oven.  Truthfully, I wish it could stay in the oven all day.  The smell itself is almost satisfying enough.  Of course one should cut into it to release even more scent, and then what do you do with it once it’s been sliced into?  Oh well, I’ll think of something.  🙂

I’m enjoying the morning.  My two puppies and I are alone, and we’re loving it.  Peace and quiet are sometimes hard to come by now that my son has moved back in.  I suppose once he moves out again, I’ll become bored with being alone, but for now it’s a pleasant thought.

Yesterday both the boys were home, and we went out for a Valentines Day breakfast.  I enjoyed it a lot.  It’s rare that all 3 of us are ever together, at least without other people in the picture.  I wish we could do that more often, but I do understand how life interferes.

Now back to the crumb cake . . . .

Perfumes don’t compare to the aromas that come from the kitchen. I can smell your cinnamon crumb cake just thinking about it.

Aloha… RYN: Yes… my yahoo account is still active…

sounds yummy! Yankee has some great smelling candles. You could have crumb cake smell 24/7 w/o the calories. 😉 Also there’s a new place I just discovered in TX, actually just outside of Austin, ironic, – Circle E Candles. I think they’re better than Yankee candles. The only drawback is you have to order them online which means you can’t go sniff and ooo, sniff and oooooo. xo
