The weather has been slightly warmer.  By that I mean above 0.  It was time for me to venture out and pick up the new pair of glasses that I had ordered.  I’m not thrilled about the fact that I had to drive for an hour for the exam, and order the glasses, and then go back 2 weeks later, to pick them up.  The first time some friends came along.  Yesterday I went alone, which turned out just fine really.  I was able to take my time and do some shopping.  That was good.  The fact that I have to go back today and return a couple of items I picked up for Jarad isn’t quite as good, except that I won’t be going alone this time.  Annie and her husband are coming along for the ride.  I really don’t mind going, but it seems like the ride home takes forever.  When alone, it’s pretty boring.  Maybe we can stop for a nice lunch somewhere to break up the monotony.  But hey, I forgot the best part.  I CAN SEE AGAIN.  I waited 2 years this time, because last time I went, my eyes hadn’t changed much.  This time, the doc said they had worsened by 40%.  I thought that was pretty drastic, and I could tell they were worse.  I just didn’t know how much.

Still in the process of figuring out what to do the first week in March.  We had our minds set on going to Cancun, but airfares haven’t come down much.  We may just go to Florida.  Annie has family in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and I’ve never been there, so it’s definitely a possibility.  “Warm” is the goal here.  Anywhere that is warm will be just fine by me.  🙂

Jeepers, creepers…

Giggling at Kate’s note. Wow, 40% is a lot of vision to lose in 2 years! Glad the lenses cleared things up.

cancun, florida, either way sounds like fun in the sun!
