last night at the church we had a hand-and-foot tournament:::::::…….

if you don’t know what that is. you NEED to know what that is. it is one of the most addictive card games ever, and it’s amazing. it was awkward last night though because both my ex and my girlfriend was there… and then at one point they sat across from each other. but they were both cool about it, and they even seemed to be making friends. lol. they’ve never really talked to each other, plus my ex is 2 years YOUNGER than me, and my gf is 2 years OLDER, so they’re 4 years apart. lol. so that might be a little difference to make friends regardless of the fact they’ve both been / are with me.

but my mom and i won the tournament! 😀 there were five teams total of 2 people each. one table of 3 teams playing, and another table of one team on the other.

i ordered a Bible for my girl and wrote her first, middle, and then MY last name on the Bible as a way of introducing our engagement. my friend had a good idea too, that i should tie the ring to some lace, and put it with the Bible. i went further with that plan and thought I should lay the lace down next to I Corinthians 13. i don’t know. the ring might not get here till the 26th! >:&. and then i JUST ordered the Bible today, but i payed a little extra for faster delivery. we’ll see.

oh, and i’m having a nice cup of joe tonight. 🙂 mmmm.

PS – we’re going to a hockey game come the 30th! i can’t wait. we go every year. it’s a treat, and it’s only a minor team like 3 hours away from us. our closest NHL team would probably be Vancouver Canucks. Lol but with boarder patrol these days, Colorado Avalanche would be maybe quicker 😛 Vancouver’s 9.5 hours, and Denver Colorado’s 15.
