a dimly lit living room, and a ceiling fan
twirled silently above, though i can’t say that i really paid too much attention to it.
INCEPTION played in the background, it’s a good movie, and i’ve always been a fan of hans zimmer music – i loved his music in Batman Begins, TDK, and Pirates of the Carribean, and Sherlock Holmes – this one is no different. i however, wasn’t watching it…
finally as we realized it was half way through playing it again after it sat motionless on the menu, she decided she needed to go – it was getting late. we were savoring each other though since we hadn’t seen each other since Sunday, and we were only seeing each other once this weekend under the circumstances…
i couldn’t wait anymore.
the ring was still in the mail, but i had the Bible with her name and my last name on it, and i knew the moment i get the ring, which according to my receipt is going to be on monday, but nevertheless, i started my speech.
i told her two wednesdays ago i went to visit her family, and got their undeniable affirmation… and that i didn’t want to wait anymore, and next weekend, my parents would be with me so it’d be awkward to do a quick proposal.
so i asked her to marry me.
she said yes. 😀
i gave her the Bible, and the confessions began about who all knew, and my journey the past few weeks.
she’s a happy camper 😀 as am i
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE So excited for you! That’s so awesome 🙂 Congratulations!
