Happy….For Once
I haven’t really written in a while. My life has been okay lately. Now that me and my hubby are both going to school and he sees that I’m trying to take the steps to improve the life of our family, like applying at Wal-Mart, he’s been way cooler with me. Two nights this week we’ve been going over to his cousin Darrell’s house and playing this really fun game called Po-Ke-no, which is basically line BINGO except instead of numbers on the card it’s cards in a deck on the card. You draw a card from the deck and if you have say like the ace of spades on your card you would cover it with a chip, it’s so fun. Last night I brought $6.80 to the game in change because we play for money, like 10 cents or 25 cents each game and then there’s usually like side pots each game for 10 cents, one for the four corners, and one for the center, so if you get any of those you get the money from that pot, well, I won at the end of the night $10 exactly. Tomorrow night for $17 a person you get 17 games of BINGO at this place over here and we’re gonna go to that, and when you are a newcomer, they give you a free ink stamper and a few games free, how fun! Saturday my hubby’s mom is going to have a home interiors party, which is decorating items in the form of avon, and afterwards later that night we are going to the new amphatheatre that they built out here because they are going to have Disco night. Sunday we might be going fishing out to the ocean on this boat and last weekend his cousin went and caught some nice fish, a few odd things too, like a seal!, and a jellyfish. He put them back though unharmed. I am so proud of my husband. He works for sprint and he’s been with the company for a year and a half and he’s always meeting his quota at his job, so a couple of days ago his manager picked him out from everyone else and told him that they want him to go to a NEXTEL store, since they just merger, in the same city for 2 months and train all of them on the SPRINT network and phones, and then when he gets back he’ll have to train all the SPRINT people at his store all about NEXTEL, and with such a lare responsibility like that, he’ll not only get a pay increase, but by the time he gets back, they’ll either make him a senior, or a manager and that would be awesome! And they told him that if he does a really good job they might have him train other NEXTEL stores all around the country, all expenses paid. I just better be able to go with him! At this rate, if I get a call back from Wal-Mart of find another job somewhere, we’ll have our own place in no time. Awwww! I almost forgot, my hubby’s sister, the oldest is having another baby, she has been trying to have one soooo bad but the last time she got pregnant she lost the baby because she had an unexpected siezure, it was so sad and it tore up everyone’s heart. She promised everyone including herself she was going to try to relax and not stress herself out because that’s pretty much the only thing that initiates her siezures, but when she told us I started crying because I was so happy. So Amanda and Jen will be in Texas together without me so I’m kinda sad about that, but at least I’ll get to see Giana when she’s born and hold her, and…I can’t wait! Well that’s it for me….. PEACE!
