Today has been a pretty good day 🙂 

Breakfast:  packet of Quaker oatmeal, 8oz Odwalla Strawberry C Monster Smoothie, medium banana
Lunch:  spring mix salad with cukes and tomatoes, panini with mozz cheese, tomatoes, and pesto, nonfat mocha, glass of water
Dinner: small bowl of chili with white rice
Snacks: none, but lots of water all day

Not too bad.  I started marinating a pork loin for tomorrow.  Dave and I were going to go out for dinner for New Years but this was cheaper and just made more sense.  We’re planning on drinking at home then heading to the bar to join in on the festivities.  Should be a fun night.  Anywho, back onto food.  I’m making a few recipes from my new Nigella cookbook.  I got pork loin and lentil recipes there and I’m making a fudgy pudding for dessert.  I know she’s not exactly known for healthy foods, but it’s New Years Eve and I’ll just make sure to be careful of my proportions.  I figure I need to have some fun and fattening food to bring in the new year.
