If I knew how to love

If I knew how to love

I would love you

Not because I want to

But because I feel I should

You are what I am used to

I know what you want

and I know how to place the part perfectly

I lie here with your arms wrapped around me

and I pretend that you love me too

That this is normal

That you are not a thug

That your scars arent stab wounds

That your smiles arent fake

That you care

That your eyes are looking into mine

and not down there

You dont tell me you love because you dont

But no one has to know

Like Ace said

Love is a caring

a sharing

and I can live with that

For now

Who cares if the only time I see you is before the sun sets

That I am not on your mind but what youd rather do next

I am not just a friend

Come on lets just pretend

No harm in staying this way

till the world ends

till you find someone who really captures your heart

come on

I can be your practice

it can be a start

You want money

Id gladly pay for your return

Why does it hurt so badly

Now that I cant see you

I call just to know you are there

I dont need or ask for anything more

Pretty pathetic

but true

dont need anything more
