Putonghua test

Today I’ve just finished the Putonghua test which is actually an oral test.  We were given three pieces of paper a week before for preparation. Each paper consisted of two parts, one is an essay and the other one is a talk theme. In the test, we had to read aloud the essay as accurate as it should be and give a 2 mins talk that we should have prepared before.

The test finally came. Not wanting to wait for so long in the classroom, me and my classmates finished the test very early and then we could have a break, waiting for the whole class to finish coz the teacher needed to test us individually which took totally 2 hours.

I was a bit nervous when it was my turn. I read the essay aloud to the teacher. Although I had prepared at home, the teacher could still mark my mistakes. Then the talk began which is about my favourite season. I practised a lot at home but when you had to say it in front of your teacher, it was another story. Again, I was marked several mistakes for the wrong intonation of some words.

Anyway, I am happy that the test is gone. This test makes me know my ability in speaking Putonghua. I realize I didn’t speak well so far, there are some sounds I didn’t know how to make correctly, and my talk was not fluent either.  Maybe I need to have more practice in the future.  The road to learn Putonghua is so long, now is even less than half of the journey. I wish I could finish it very soon.

What did you mean in your note? Did you want to know about the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment to my freckles? There actually are quite a few treatments to remove freckles and so far I have done one only. So I can’t really tell the results. Let’s talk more in msn and I will tell you all the details about the treatment.

I also wanna take a course of learning Putonghua. Where do you learn it? Is it good?
