Back to the old class

It has been a long long time I was not feeling as happy as today.  This evening, I went to the old Japanese class in Shek Kip Mei.  Sensei was surprised when he saw me walking in the classroom.  Sensei asked if I was busy recently, he said I had not come since last year, it had been 3 months.  Oh really?  I forget and I felt sorry for not coming to the class for a long time without leaving a word.  I was so sorry.  I knew he remembered me, he even gave me the handouts that I missed for the previous lessons, how touching!

Anyway, I had a reason to come to the class today.  I had a meeting with Chin Kun who was back to HK last Friday and is going to stay for a week.  He invited all of our Japanese friends for a dinner after lesson.  Today’s lesson was not easy for me after not going to the class for a long time.  The worksheet was too difficult and the time passed as slow as it was before.  But I was happy to see all our old friends who came together because of Chin Kin.   I was happy to see them again.

After class, we went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner.  We have 10 people including Sensei, Chin Kun, Danny, Evan, Kin, me, Joey, Queenie, Kasumi and Wannam.  What a lot of people!  It was really not easy for us to get together.  We have to thanks Chin Kun, he is always the spirit in our group.  Without he, we cannot meet each other.  We had a happy dinner, ordered lots of food, chatted a lot and I brought the DC to take some pictures.  Chin Kun wore a black suit with a tie today, looked quite formal, he was fatter and taller, looked a bit mature.  Kin looked younger, maybe because of the new hair cut.  Queenie looked rounded on her face.  She gave birth to her second kid last year and Joey gave birth to her first baby girl last December.  Congratulation to the two mothers!

After dinner, me, Kin and Danny went to the bus stop and we chatted about the class while waiting for the bus.  It was so rare for us to have a  chance to talk, since Chin Kun left about 2 years ago, really.  I backed home after 12.  Quite tired today but it was a good day.  I miss them a lot.  I never thought we can meet again after 2 years.  It was so happy, but at the same time, I was sad because I know we are going to move away from each other again when Chin Kun leaves this Sunday.   Oh I will miss them.
