Angel’s Plan
Recently, we have this so-called "Angel’s Plan" activity in our school. Have you ever heard about it? It is a plan which each colleague should be someone’s angel in the school to give love, support and encouragment to that person. The angels shouldn’t let the target person know their identities. The activity will end at the end of the term in July.
The plan has started for a week and I have already sent something to my targeted person. It is a bar of chocolate and a sticker with encouraging words written on it. I hope my targeted person will get it.
Then for today, when I backed to my desk after work, I found a packet of cookies and a note with the following words written: "Dear Ling, Tell you your smile is so sweet and I hope you will be happy everyday. Your angel."
Wow, I was surprised. I wondered who gave me this. I think it is likely written by an English teacher coz the note is in English. But I don’t know who this person is by reading the handwriting. I think my angel is very successful not to let me know his or her identity but able to give me support. I have to thanks my angel.
I think this activity is interesting and meaningful because you never know who is always around you to give you support and encouragement and to cheer you up when you’re down. But wait… since we find our targeted person in a draw instead of choosing on our own prefence, I wonder if those angels really want to care about you or they just treat it as a job or a game. I don’t know. Anyway, maybe I think too much. It’s a good thing to be cared and supported, which I think is the spirit for this activity.
Hello! When I was teaching we used to have Secret Santas before the Christmas holidays. Hard to say how I felt about it…But I say to you, enjoy the giving & receiving…
