a day before xmas eve

Just one day before xmas eve.  Tonight is the school holiday but we have to go to school for the trouble staff development day from nine to five.  The meeting was very long and tiring.  After meeting, we all went to have a farewell dinner for two of our colleagues who are going to resign after the first term in december.   I was shocked when I knew the news and I was sad about their leave especially Ka Yan who I thought was a really good teacher, I am sure her leaving will be a great loss to the school.  Well, after all I understand it is not a good job working here.

Anyway, back to the xmas dinner.  We went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner and exchanged xmas gifts.  Too bad that I picked up the most unwanted present – a box of chocolate from supermarket.  I’d rather get my own present which is a towel set of precious moments.  I hate exchanging xmas gift, it is nothing fun and only waste money. 

This xmas, I will have dinner and movie in hong kong but one of my colleagues just told me she will have a hot xmas in Australia.  She will fly to Australia to see her friend and stay in his place for eight days.  Wow I want to go see my friend too but it’s impossible for me right now.  All I can do is stay at hong kong.  Poor me!  Anyway, hope this year I will have a good and romantic xmas because it is our 3rd year anniversary.
