Film editing is fun

So I’m starting to enjoy this film editing.  After seeing all the unique effect plugins, I may have found my next career.  A lot of it does seem to be a little tedious and very finicky.  I love that sort of work.  The appreciation for how hard it is to edit a star wars film just skyrocketed.

It turns out that video production is available at the college just up the street from me.  It may be worth looking into.  I have a few months to decide if I want to apply.  It covers everything from start to finish.  This means I would learn how to get good video, record good sound, as well as editing.

Although, this probably isn’t an industry to start out in when you’re over 40.

Today my two packages came.  One was on time. The other was Amazon’s late delivery that was suposed to be here yesterday.  That means all the pieces are in place for the prank on my mom.  It needs a good code name…. Operation Highjump?  That seems like a good name.

There is a new squirrel who won’t take a peanut from me; instead, he waits with his mouth open for me to insert the peanut.  It’s hilarious.

Arg, my photo backup won’t work.  For some reason, I can’t select the same folder I was using before.  Off to try and fix this.
