Been keeping a diary on my private server… Tigger is going from curative to palliative care.

Since late fall 2018, I have been keeping my diary on my private server. It is convenient, travels with me, I can use it from my phone, laptop, web interface or offline. It only occurred to me recently to post to both. The best benefit of my private server is if I leave it, I don’t lose it and can quickly pick up as if I’m writing a document in Word.

So I’m back. Plus with another cat on the verge of death, this is a very therapeutic place for me to let out how I feel.

Tigger is not doing well. She crapped all over the upstairs landing last night. Today, she didn’t make it down the stairs very well or into the litter box; going upstairs she fell over.

It’s time I move her litter box onto the main floor, but I don’t know where. The logical choice is the kitchen by the window. It is close to the garbage can, somewhat out of the way, and a spot that is easy for Tigger to get to and me to check and clean as needed.

The downside is it’s kind of gross, and I don’t know how A or W will feel about it.

Apparently, Amin’s grandmother passed away yesterday. He didn’t seem to tell many people at all. Waleed said he heard from a friend.

I can’t stop crying today. I think it has finally set in, Tigger is dying, and it will probably be much sooner than expected.

In a funny; non-funny way, she now reminds me of Limpy. Who did fully recover and now only has a slight wobble. Sadly, Tigger will not improve.

Tomorrow I’m going to go to the vet and see if they have any advice and if possible pick up some pain medication for her. Hopefully, Tigger won’t have to go to the vet for this. She hates it. Every time she goes, she pees herself — my poor sick kitty.

It’s weird being here. It feels like I can’t easily update the entry throughout the day.

awe I’m so sorry to hear Tigger is on her last days, that’s the heartbreak of pets, they always outlive those who love them.

@nicolette_meadows Yep, never get a pet they will break your heart.

And thank you. I’m sure Tigger will live a long time. Today was one of those benchmarks that enforce how sick she is.

I have a cat named Mr. P. I bet Mr. P and Tigger would be fine friends.

I remember this day. I hope & pray she is feeling better at this time. I know she is very ill, I just hope she can have lots of better days. Take care.
