Another vet visit in the books
Tigger had a good vet visit. She didn’t pee herself.
The vet was thrilled with how good she’s doing. While I get the bloodwork back tomorrow, other than needing to lose a little weight she’s in decent health.
While her teeth are pretty bad; and she can’t have surgery, the smell may have been coming from her anal glands which were completely full.
She is on medication for her teeth and her; chronic, ear infections.
I may also put her on medication to help reduce the muscle loss so she can stay mobile a little longer. Her hind legs are down to about 60% muscle.
It is another beautiful spring day here. We topped out at 7 c, and sunny most of the day. It is now after dinner walking weather. I’m so excited to get back to that.
I’m ready to start dating again; after three years, but knowing I’m going to be moving in the near future I’m hesitant to get involved. That’s what happened last time, and I missed out on moving to Cuba for six months.
There is this one woman where I usually shop. But, I’m so out of practice that I’m not sure how to ask her out while she’s ringing up my items.
Venezuela, as well as Sudan, are now in the dark. Both went dark after protests against the current government. For those who don’t think it will happen here at home in our lifetime, I hope you develop a plan for a minimum month long lights out situation.
Imagine no food, water, ability to cook, drive, keep you and your warm home, no food for pets, no mobile or internet, riots and looting just to stay alive.
I still haven’t had a chat with my friend about the Ukranian piece I wrote. At this point, I can add about another ten pages, but I’ve moved on. I don’t know what I’m going to write about, but I may make a book on all the fish and coral ID as I self teach myself.
The vet was fascinated that I’m planning on becoming an underwater coral farmer; it sounds so funny.
