The sky's no longer blue,
'though it may still look spring or summer to you.
The sun's been out of sight too.
Looks like the rain's coming soon,
right in the middle of June.
Grey clouds threaten the view.
What are you going to do?
Lucky for you,
'cause your feet are still on the ground.
No need to make a sound,
for the listeners won't always be around.
For now, be the solitary, quiet singer
on that empty stage - in front of the ghostly audience.
But the show must still go on.
Give them your best performance,
'though you might forget your lines.
In the end - you'll be fine.
Remember, God's never stopped being kind.
So let's start this parade,
'though you'll soak in the rain.
Soon you'll meet your better fate,
'cause your best efforts are never in vain.
