Well, here's something I didn't know was here!
So what to write? Well, I originally hail from Coventry in the West Midlands, moved to a village just south of Leicester when I was 13, and out to the Lincolnshire Fens back in '86, after a career in the RAF, leaving, getting married and having the first 2 of three children.
Wife's name is Dawn, kids are Paula (26), Vicki (23), and Lee (22) (all as of 12/01/09). Paula has left home and is living with her partner, Got married in August(05). They have two sons, Logan 5 and Jayden 1. Yes, I am a grandad too!
Daughter No.2 has also left home this year to set up a place with her partner...about 2 minutes down the road! So see her quite often.
Son, Lee, lives with us after a bad motorbike accident in Jan 2007.
Been into bikes since I was 17. ridden most makes and still love them. Obviously (due to the name) Harley Davidsons are my favourite and I got my second one in June (05).
Also into photography and trying to make this a full time hobby/career.
Main job is as a registered Nurse, which I qualified for in March '04. I work in a Walk-In Centre in Peterborough and have done for 18 months now. really love the job, work with a good team and just wish I had found nursing so many years ago.
Well, thats me in a nutshell. I'm a pretty laid back kinda guy that doesn't get riled about too much. Hope it interests you enough to read my diary sometime. the more notes the merrier!

What do I mean by that? Well, I was so happy to find that Open Diary was still around. I'd made a lot of 'friends' through the previous OD. Some of which have endured through Facebook. One of them I actually met and spent time with her and her family when I was training to…Continue Reading... -

.... has been good so far. Obviously, with older age comes the usual aches and pains. Arthritis is my constant companion these days. My knees, hips and, of all things, my thumbs are suffering, especially on cold days. Knees I can put down to all my years of being a biker, and my hip…Continue Reading... -
From The Ashes….

Well, what a surprise. I didn't know Open Diary was still going. I transferred to ProseBox as most previous ODers did, but never really felt the same community spirit that OD seemed to have. So I am pleased it has returned and hopefully I can resume regular writings. I will have more time these...Continue Reading... -
