June morning
A gorgeous morning here on the front range. Just enough breeze to ruffle the aspen leaves. Only tiny, lazy ripples on the lake.
But I have to complain anyhow. Forecast for today is in the high 90’s with wind. One hundreds for the rest of the week.
Had a nice Sunday. Took DIL and Dusty out for brunch after church. Came home, took a short nap, then went down to our commons area to help one of the residents celebrate her 91st birthday. She is such a sweetheart. Avid Rockies fan. Sharp as a tack. Her family came and brought cake and ice cream. Lots of people from the building were there. Then came home and took a long nap. Watched a dumb movie. Went to bed without any supper. Funny thing. I didn’t sleep very well…. Hum….Wonder why.
Looking at a slow week. In fact my calendar is quite bare for the whole rest of the month. What, no parties??? I’d better check again.
It’s nice to be back here on OD. Even though I kept reading and noting, I wasn’t getting very many notes–because I couldn’t make an entry. I missed that.
Hope everybody has a weather-worry free week.
We’re getting rain, but our temps are a long way from the heat you guys are getting. :/ Stay cool out there in the high country, and I’m soooo glad you’re able to write again!!!!! :))))

Well don’t be sending any of your heat this way! 😉

We’re supposed to have a hot week after weeks and weeks of cooler than average weather.
