From Montana, with love

We got here Saturday morning after a few obstacles were overcome.  In plenty of time to watch DJ take first in the 400 relay and the 100 meter hurdles, second in 300 hurdles and 200m dash and 3rd in 100m dash, qualifying in all five events for state competition.

Last night we went to her school concert and were treated to some very good music and surprised (well, not exactly surprised) when she was awarded the National High School Choral award.

Tonight is the track and field awards banquet and we’ve been invited to go to that.  I expect there will be more hardware coming home with us.

Tomorrow is the "senior breakfast" to which we are also invited.

The next day we hit the road to the State Track Meet way out west.  We will be there until the meet is over on Saturday.  We hope to see our nephew who lives in that city.  And Son is flying up from Denver to watch DJ run and will come back here with us for the Sunday graduation, and to drive home with us on Monday.

     We are having fun now!
