How did it get to be Easter already? Wasn’t it just Halloween last week? Time sure flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it?

Two more weeks of taxes. That’s twice I have to go help people. It’s not that I don’t like helping. It’s just that the stress is getting to me.

Keeping busy. Last night the residents of our building had a chicken dinner in the commons area. Some of the gals organized it. We ordered KFC meals which were delivered. Guess they do this several times a year. We pay a little extra and the money goes in a pot to pay for special events like New Years parties. It was fun to share a meal with our neighbors.

I have my Fab 50’s newsletter ready to mail. Have been trying to deliver it by email, but only a few of the members seem to know how to open attachments…or they don’t even have a computer. We are old folks, after all, so I still have to snail mail most of them.

We had big snow again last weekend and my car got plowed in. I was supposed to go to the dentist for a crown Monday, but couldn’t get the car out. The office is just across the street from the apartment building, but it was too icey for me to walk, so I called and rescheduled. Not going to fall and break myself if I can help it.

Tomorrow is John’s angelversary. Always a hard day for me. To add more sorrow and pain it is Good Friday. We are going to go with a friend to her daughter’s church in the evening. Friend’s grandson is singing in the pageant. I’ll be glad when it’s over.

If I don’t get back before, I’d like to wish you all a very happy Easter. God’s blessing on you all.

I must be channeling you…..I haven’t had KFC fried chicken in years but I have been craving it so much today! The closest one is a 70 mile round trip so I think I had better crave something else. I love the term angelversary and think I will be borrowing it. My thoughts will be with you tomorrow! xoxox

yep, that particular one day of the year when your life changed forever is always a bit difficult. i didn’t realize that the snow was that bad in the denver area. still having trouble getting hold of my friend in arvada. hope you have a wonderful Easter. take care,

I remember when your mom fell outside the church in the snow….. don’t let that happen to you… on Friday i had lunch with Mom and Terry..we remembered John and told a couple of stories about him…

I LOVE that…Angelversary. And I’m sorry too that it brings sadness for you. As in my fathers case, I always think if it could’ve been different…but he did his best, and that’s good enough for me. Love is forever. (((Hugs Em)))

It was a lovely Easter, and a joy to see a note from you. RYN: Why are we doing this? Because we live in the flight path noise, we are getting free new windows, new doors, and new HVAC. We have to pull everything out from the walls and put it in the center of the room. I also have to move out of my closet. Ah, but the end result will be work it.

I worked on my taxes yesterday and I missed the EIC by less than $500. Bummer. Uncle Sam gets a another check from me this year – larger than last year! The state gets some money, too! Geez…underemployed, 7 part-time jobs, and I still owe money. What is the world am I doing WRONG! Also, saw your post on FB, and had you in my thoughts on John’s angelversary.
