Huge Pet Peeve

Why does everyone smoke pot?! Seriously! It’s all I’ve heard about these past couple weeks. It’s like our entire school smokes (well, the majority does actually). Now I find out that a few of my “friends” definitely do.

Why?! What about it makes it soo good that you just HAVE to smoke? How bad is your life that HAVE to smoke s/t to be normally happy? You can’t even function normally w/o it anymore? How sad are you.

I don’t smoke. Anything. At all. Cigarettes are just nasty as all fucking hell. And pot…w/e, it’s your choice. If you wanna fuck yourself up and not be able to lead a normal life w/o depending on s/t then so be it. I mean, it’s your choice. No one can force you to stop. If you wanna smoke, you’re gonna find a way, which seems to be way too easy.

It used to not bother me (other people smoking) but now I’m so disgusted by it. Some people, that’s just who they are, there’s no changing the fact about them (Like some of the battery). But now I know that Phil does it (which actually explains a lot of things), Craig David, who claimed he quit doing it a while ago. Felicia does too, we knew last year that she did once with Colin but that was the only time, now she’s got like 3 bongs in her car. John, our narrarator in the dl show, does too.

Hey, Got a “funny” story for you. Last saturday, our 1st drumline competition. We had to spend the entire day at North Central for the ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble contest beforehand b/c most people in dl were in it too. Sometime during the day, Shawn Reiter, Steve Kramer, Dan Mitchell, and Mike Switzer all passed John coming outta the bathroom as they were going in. When they were in there, they noticed it smelled like pot. Not wanting to get blamed for it if a judge or s/o walked in, they got outta there. Shawn went to Mr Nelson (who immediately kicked him outta dl) about this Thursday morning or s/t. Then it got to Harmon (who then immediately kicked him outta band), then to the office. Shawn and Steve both had to write a statement for them of everything they saw. John had pot on him at school so he was arrested and police escorted from the building. Now he’s definitely expelled. For the 2nd time. He was once as in 6th grade for stealing a flute. BTW, John’s a freshmen.  He was supposed to be last year, was this year and will be next year. That’s so sad. But he deserves it.

I’m glad he got expelled. I know it sounds mean, considering he was in my section this year and we were friends. But in september, once I found out he liked me, things changed. I didn’t want to be around him at all. I felt sooo uncomfortable whenever he was there. Like he was always watching. Then he didn’t and it was okay again. But earlier in Febuary, I got the hint that he did again. He kept staring at me all the time. I wanted to be like “WTF. Do I have some sort of mutated growth coming outta my head and it keeps looking at you and now you’re having a staring contest with it?! Last time I checked, he wasn’t there so stop or I will be forced to gouge your eyes out with a spork” and then one day at DL practice, Joe gave me hug and he’s like “Ugh, you never hug me” I’m like, “Sorry, but Joe hugged me” and the next practice, he gave me 3 hugs. But he always came up from behind me so I wasn’t expecting them. One time he put his head on my (right) shoulder and and hugged me. I FROZE! I moved my head left and saw outta the corner of my eye it was him, I’m like ‘Hi John’ and continued to talk to Lizzie about w/e it was we were talking about.

At the mall we stopped at for 2 hours last saturday, he kept following me and Lizzie around there too. (Ps, he was smoked there too). I asked her later when we were eating our “Fro Yo” if he was always like that (him and her younger brothers are best friends) and she said she was soooo glad when we managed to lose him s/w. So we both were glad he’s out now.
