Trust is the most important thing

Without it, a relationship fails.  No questions asked.

I’m not even talking about being faithful to someone.  I mean, there are many relationships open enough to accept having a fling or two.  I’m talking about something fundamental inside of you, about knowing who someone really is, and then finding out that the person you thought you knew isn’t whomever he or she says he/she is.  That kind of trust breaking…

it’s hard to figure out sometimes when friends are really friends or just hangers-on.  I think part of the problem is I’m so generous with my friends… My REAL friends never take advantage of me, but don’t reject my generosity… my other "friends" however… well… they don’t reject my generosity. 🙂

Ah, what to do when the statues crumble into the clay, eh? 😉

Don’t most statues have feet of clay?? But yeah trust is the most fundamental requirement of all relationships. Seem simple enough yet once broken.. it takes forever to seal the cracks.. some are unmendable… love your entries.. as always… Cheers, Rinny
