Prayers for the Hurricane Victims

My prayers go out to all the victims of that horrendous hurricane.  🙁   I just watched Brett Favre talk about his family in Gulfport, and not being able to contact his mom or his grandma.  I’m sure the same feeling of horror is felt by so many other Americans, and I would like to invite all my Open Diary friends to say their prayers for everyone’s safe recovery.

To all the Open Diary people from the affected areas, I hope you are all doing well, and that you evacuated when you could.

It rips me up inside to see lives affected this way.  I was in Asia during the tsunami, so I know first-hand what kind of devastation nature can bring.  I only hope the death toll this time is minimal.  May the Good Lord protect everyone involved.
