simple song………..

this is my simple song

to help you through your day

i offer words of hope

there is no other way

see when a branch goes dead

the tree can still grow on

and so it goes with life

another lesson learned

and when the sun comes up

you may not be the same

as when you went to bed

and there’s no one to blame

it’s all a part of change

and that’s the way it is

so count your blessings twice

and live your life in bliss

for there will be sometimes

when nothing seems quite right

but when tomorrow comes

the sun defeats the night

so lift your voice in praise

no matter where you are

in time it all works out

if you can see that far

for there are angels here

you may or may not see

who lend a helping hand

to you and also me

for i have seen my child

about to her death to fall

and something pushed her back

and so she did not fall

ryn – thanks for that point – you’re right, the causes themselves are about as complicated as the syndrome of problems with insulin and glucose and hormones etc. my endocrinologist didn’t have much to offer, I’d definitely go to a new one if my “plan” doesn’t resolve this. the body’s system of balancing all that is SOOO intricately interwoven and delicately balanced, the last thing I want todo is start on medications that turn off [what’s remaining of my] natural system and replace it with an on/off switch the equivalent of a bull in a china shop. In any case, exercise is a cure for almost everything so at least it won’t make it worse. But more to the point, lack of exercise is one of the prime causes of all ills, so I’m merely removing one of my own causes, my inactivity.
