children and fatherhood

there are times when it is a joy to be a father

 there are times when it is very painful

 when your child chooses to fail

(and almost all things are a choice)

it hurts not just them but it really hurts a parent

 if you care you want only the best

life is not always easy

then i thought

 how does God feel?

 is he not "our father"

knowing this

 what shall be my choice ….
