Say Anything

There comes a time in each of our lives in which someone that we always just knew would be there will have to leave. The reasons why are not important, but the departure will leave a huge hole that feels like it will never close, as though you will never be whole again.

It’s during those times that thoughts comes back to overwhelm you, and remind you of all the things you said you would do, and all the things you wanted to say, and never did. And you realize just how much time you wasted over stupid things, and pointless prides or acts, and that if you just had that one moment or that one chance back, you would give anything. Anything at all. But you never worried about it before because “there’s always time.”

But then time runs out, and the moments are gone, and the chances are missed.

So don’t wait, ever. Just say it. Say what you need to say. Say anything.
