ryn: I think things happen for a reason too — but really could drown myself in the negative aspects of that if I wasn’t careful. I don’t know if I try to find a “better” reason or not. I try to think of it as growth, which is better in itself, I suppose. But growth is generally painful, which also goes hand in hand with bad stuff happening. Obviously, I don’t have it all figured out yetor what I would have written above would make more sense (even to me). Trying to focus on the good makes the bad seem not quite so.. thick. And then I seem to be able to find the objective “good” in that bad, the growth. Of course, until I find that objectivity, I’m quite the sad sack.
