Hello.

I’m Gabriel Clark.

If you’ve ever met me, you’ll always know me.

If you’re alone in the dark, you’ll find me nearby.

If you’re cornered by an overwhelming majority, I’ll fight for you.

If you’ve become the overwhelming majority, I’ll keep hold of your ankle.

If I am no longer needed for any of these things, I won’t notice your departure.

But I will carry your absence silently, long after the dye fades to white.
