“Why like this?”
It’s been 10 days since the original time schedule was restored. Since then, I have been bored to death and every day complained to myself on what brought about the sudden and unessential time shifting. It was as if the decision was not thought about well and was just based on a feeling thing…"I thought all will be back to normal." It was such a waste of plentiful things like electricity, manpower, and time!"
I often wondered why a simple experiment or survey wasn’t made before any decision came up. I respect my boss but many a times I always get puzzled by his decisions-company, management and operation decisions. I’ve always been a mind and an action reader and at the end of the day, I come up to a conclusion that these are just the result of stupidity or maybe something beyond my aquired knowledge that it even defies the most common of all logics….hahahaha.
I hate to think that since I’m an asian, I am prone to being abused and exploited since I’m not an arab. I don’t mean to offen but it only applies to those few that I know of. Since my race knows how to adjust to various circumstances doesn’t mean we should be taken advantage of at anytime they want. I feel degraded everytime I see the bosses leave the office and while the others are left idle to stay just to complete the hours.
It was so insensitive, it was so inconsiderate. Not because we are now being paid full doesn’t mean we have to be treated like really subordinates. A friend once told me that people won’t treat you the way you feel unless you allow them to. But I guess it doesn’t always prove to be true. Yes, we are employees here in this arab state and we are subject to company rules. But we deserve to be treated with respect since we work for the company that even if the manager or the bosses didn’t come to work, we still operate the company.
why is it so unfair?
